CPR C with AED

Description:  The Lifesaving Society CPR program follows the 2010 ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation) guidelines and includes AED training

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) trains rescuers in the skills and knowledge needed to assess and provide basic life support to patients with airway, breathing, or circulatory emergencies as well an awareness of the risk factors that contribute to heart disease. 

This class is suitable for: anybody who may be performing CPR on adults, children or infants.

CPR-C is the recognized course for health care professionals and lifeguards!

 

  • What you will learn:

  • Principles of first aid

  • Use of barrier devices and how to call EMS

  • Adult, child and infant CPR skills and AED use

  • 2 rescuer CPR and AED procedures

  • Adult, child and infant conscious and unconscious choking procedures

  • Circulatory emergencies to include recognition and treatment of a heart attack, angina, stroke and TIA

 

 

CPR A with AED

Description: The Lifesaving Society CPR program follows the 2010 ILCOR (International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation) guidelines and includes AED training

CPR-A teaches the resuscitation skills needed to help adults - those most at risk for heart attack and stroke. 

 

This class is suitable for: anybody working with adults (8 and above) and who may be required to perform CPR

 

What you will learn:

  • Principles of first aid

  • Use of barrier devices and how to call EMS

  • Adult CPR skills and AED use

  • Adult conscious and unconscious choking procedures

  • Circulatory emergencies to include recognition and treatment of a heart attack, angina, stroke and TIA
